Dr Greg Apel

Dr Apel is a consultant in Occupational Psychiatry. Over the past twelve years, Dr Apel has developed a busy forensic practice as report writer and expert court witness. He acts for both plaintiffs and defendants in civil and criminal matters, with a particular interest in issues in the workplace, and assessment of disability and fitness for duty. Dr Apel provides occupational psychiatry assessments at the industrial level and as an advisor on workplace function. He is also engaged by Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Authority for assessments at professional level. He has been engaged by Civil Aviation Safety Authority to advise on policy development and provides opinions and advice on psychiatric aspects on aviation medicine.
